About Danvillage

COMIC BOOKS, NINTENDO GAMES, AND SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS...

As a child of the 80's, this was my life!

Now, as a Santa Barbara based illustrator not much has changed. Comic books became a writing gig on the Superman themed t.v. show "Smallville"; Nintendo games turned into a concept art job for Pandemic Studios; and Saturday morning cartoons turned into a Creative Director job at Red Bull.

Staying true to my roots, I've named my illustration studio "Danvillage" after my hometown Danville, where it all started for me.

Danvillage is a uniquely positive and playful world that reflects the diverse and vibrant cultural melting pot of it's colorful and creative citizens. It's a place that radiates good vibes.

WHO I DRAW FOR

When I'm not building Danvillage, I'm drawing for Marvel, Nike, Google, The New York Times and the NHL — brand campaigns, editorial, packaging, beer labels, gig posters and murals. I'm represented by IllustrationX. I call the style popwhimsy: bold, whimsical, character-driven, and slightly out of control.

Everything in this shop is drawn by hand. No AI, no stock art, no shortcuts.
